Abstract
Embracing the principles of lean: a method of delivering value to customers and removing waste from work processes, the HA are now applying this philosophy to infrastructure asset management. Lean visual management comprises three elements: visual displays, performance improvement and stand-up meetings. Ways of implementing and enhancing the system are explored.
