Abstract
Covers general requirements, testing, classification, identification, marking and documents, protection against electrical and mechanical hazards, protection from radiation, protection against excessive temperatures, accuracy of controls and instruments and protection against hazardous outputs, fault conditions, programmable electrical medical systems (PEMS), construction and electromagnetic compatibility.
