Abstract
Sets out the Committee's advice on the potential for renewable energy development in the UK, and advice on whether existing targets should be reviewed. Also contains new analysis of the technical feasibility and economic viability of renewable and other low-carbon energy technologies and scenarios for renewable energy deployment to 2030.

The Committee on Climate Change was established under the Climate Change Act 2008 as an independent advisory body to the UK Government and Devolved Administrations, to advise on emissions targets and report to Parliament on progress made in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for climate change.
