Abstract
Briefly gives the principles of galvanic corrosion, particularly parameters which affect the risk of this type of corrosion such as: potential difference, conductivity of electrolyte, wetting duration and environments, cathode and anode area. Also touches on the prevention of galvanic (bimetallic) corrosion.
