Abstract
Provides guidance on how the built environment can be designed to improve the experience and outcome of renal patients. Identifies the accommodation requirements of a main renal unit comprising facilities for haemodialysis, teaching peritoneal dialysis, ward for inpatients, outpatients, the maintenance and repair of haemodialysis machines, the administration of renal services, and independent home haemodialysis training.
