A period now exists to prepare for the transition between first and second generation Eurocodes. First generation Eurocodes will be withdrawn by BSI on 30 March 2028 and will be replaced by second generation Eurocodes. Supersedes BS 8118-1:1991 and BS EN 1999-1-4:2007. To be used with NA to BS EN 1999-1-5:2007:2009. Amendment dated 31 August 2010 - Implementation of CEN corrigendum November 2009. Amendment dated 30 November 2011 - Implementation of CEN amendment A1:2011. To enable EN 1999 to be used in the UK, the NDPs have been published in a National Annex.
