Abstract
Welding is the fusion of two workpieces, normally metal, by heat or by pressure or by both. Section deals with the principal hazards associated with welding; Fumes and gases, Electric shock, Fires, Explosions, Burns, Eye damage and heat stress. Also looks briefly at operational faults in welding equipment.
