Abstract
Sets out the Regional Development Strategy (RDS) for the future development of Northern Ireland to 2035, addressing economic, social and environmental issues aimed at achieving sustainable development and social cohesion. Provides an overarching strategic planning framework to facilitate and guide the public and private sectors. It takes account of key driving forces such as population growth and movement, demographic change, the increasing number of households, transportation needs, economic changes, climate change and the spatial implications of divisions that still exist in society.
