Abstract
Provides a background to the Green deal, which aims to encourage businesses and individuals to improve the energy efficiency of buildings with no upfront cost. Explains the requirements of the energy company obligation and how this will be monitored, looks at how it will be financed, take-up, assessment and eligible products and systems. Briefly covers the requirements placed on Green Deal Providers and Installers.
