Abstract
Addresses noise from roads, railways and industry within the agglomeration (large urban area) of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. It is one of four Action Plans required by EC Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the Assessment and Management of Environmental Noise, and the Environmental Noise (Wales) Regulations 2006. Aims to prevent and reduce environmental noise where necessary and particularly where exposure levels can induce harmful effects on human health and to preserve environmental noise quality where it is good.
