Abstract
Considers responses to question 3 to the Government's consultation on the reform of the application process governing the stopping up and diversion of highways under Sections 247 and 248 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. This question sought views on the proposal to introduce a concurrent process to allow applications for stopping up or diversion orders to be considered alongside planning applications - known as option 1.
