Abstract

Provides recommendations and guidance for the control of fire and explosion risks on sites where chemicals are stored or processed in significant quantities. Covers fire risk assessments, site layout and design, buildings and structures, precautions against ignition followed by an explosion, storage and movement of chemicals, design, operation and maintenance of process plant, fire prevention and works fire brigades and fixed fire protection.
