Abstract

Sets out information about ports in Wales. Covers the freight traffic through these ports; ferry traffic, of both passengers and freight, between Wales and the Republic of Ireland; and ship arrivals at Welsh ports. This information was previously released in Chapter 10 of 'Welsh Transport Statistics'.

Superseded by Statistical Bulletin 22/2014: Sea transport, 2013 (Welsh Government, 2014). Supersedes Welsh transport statistics 2011 - chapter 10: sea transport (WAGSD, 2011). From 20/03/2012, chapters in Welsh transport statistics will gradually be replaced by a series of topic-based statistical bulletins.
