Abstract
Introduces a responsible approach to drainage to reduce flooding and pollution from impermeable surfaces. Highlighting the recent changes to permitted development rules and legislation requiring sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) for paving. Looks at various measures and their implementation and how to avoid issues of planning enforcement and complications with property sales.
