Provides a comprehensive treatment of all aspects of sprayed concrete (shotcrete), in three sections: technology - introduction to sprayed concrete, materials, specialist pre-blended materials, production and physical properties; design and installation - specification and quality control, design for structural application and tunnel support, equipment, quality control and site safety; and applications - new construction, repair, shotcrete for rock support and cathodic protection. Many of the applications discussed are supported by case histories.
