Abstract
The Housing standards review consultation seeks views on the results of the recent review of Building Regulations and housing standards. The aim of these major changes is to reduce bureaucracy and costs for house builders and to continue to support growth, quality, sustainability, safety and accessibility. Presents the preferred option and impact assessment for issuing Nationally Described Standards to replace existing standards.
