Abstract
Considers the opportunities and limits to growing the wave and tidal energy industry in Wales. Also identifies how potential sites could be developed to support a marine energy industry in Wales. Specifically looks at identifying the main areas in Welsh waters of interest to the marine energy industry and comprises a brief assessment of cost, limits and risks to development. Also includes the cost estimates and some feasibility work in a business case.
