Information Paper 16/13 Greener homes for Redbridge: Sustainable refurbishment of 19 dwellings

Abstract
During 2010, East Thames Housing Group refurbished 19 dwellings to improve the homes’ environmental performance. Ten were refurbished to higher levels of sustainability. This paper analyses the savings, costs and cost-benefits for each dwelling, including implications for the Green Deal, and highlights lessons learned throughout the project.
