Abstract

In May 2002 the British Standard BS 341 specifying UK cylinder valve connections was revised by issuing a Part 3 devoted to outlet connections. New connections are identical to the “New European Valve Outlet Connection” system (referred to as NEVOC) as developed by the European Industrial Gas Association (EIGA) and as detailed in BS ISO 5145. Alerts the importance of specifying the correct connection.
