Abstract
Describes the quality management system requirements for temporary traffic management (excluding mobile lane closure techniques) on rural and urban roads. It is applicable to works on all highways and roads except motorways and dual carriageways with speed limits of 50 mph or greater. It includes all temporary traffic control systems for vehicles as well as those for other road users e.g. pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians.
