Fact Sheet 4 Testing programme - Rowner research project - phase one

Abstract

Describes the testing regime at the Rowner research project in Gosport between 2009-2013 looking at the design and delivery of 24 apartments, built to comply with the Code for sustainable homes (CSH) level 3 energy requirements and Fabric energy efficiency standard (FEES). Potential weaknesses were identified during testing using diagnostic testing tools covering air permeability, MVHR commissioning, co-heating and U-value measurements. Includes observations and recommendations.
