Abstract

Welding has been defined as the fusion of two workpieces, normally metal, by heat or by pressure or by both. Discusses the most commonly used construction welding processes: Electric Arc - MMA or SMA; Tungsten Inert Gas arc (TIG); Metal Inert Gas arc (MIG); and Gas welding.
