Abstract

Seeks views on the proposal to amend, by order, the following provisions which provide powers enabling relevant organisations to override easements and other rights over land in their ownership: Paragraph 6 of Schedule 28 of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980; Section 19 of the New Towns Act 1981; Paragraph 5 of Schedule 10 of the Housing Act 1988; and Section 237 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
