Abstract
Establishes an assessment framework for the acute safety risks associated with major accident hazard pipeline (MAHP) containing flammable substances. Provides guidance for the selection of pipeline failure frequencies and modelling failure consequences for the prediction of individual and societal risks. Applicable to buried pipelines on land.
