Materials, construction and marking/labelling of cables forming the circuits connecting the components of alarm systems.
Document History
Supersedes BS 4737-3-30:1986. First edition June 1986. Second (current) edition February 2015. Came into effect 28 February 2015. This full revision expands the scope to include alarm systems and not just intruder alarms and is no longer specific to PVC cable. There are now three classifications of cable construction, with more robust schedule of tests and guidance for application of cables.
