Abstract
Provides guidance for the procurement of stationary batteries for use in electricity generating stations, more commonly referred to as power stations. The guidance will assist purchasers in the preparation of a specification to address the type of equipment to be used and how it will relate to other system elements, and the anticipated performance, reliability, safety and quality measures. Excludes equipment for use in the nuclear reactor plant area of nuclear power stations.
