Abstract
Contains information for 2010 to 2012 about total waste generated for the whole of UK, the contribution of different sectors and its management. These UK figures are compiled to comply with EC Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/EC) and EC Waste Statistics Regulation (2150/2002/EC) reporting requirements. Covers: waste from households - UK and country level data; biodegradable municipal waste (BMW) sent to landfill - UK and country level data; recovery rate from non-hazardous construction and demolition waste - UK and England; waste arising from the commercial and industrial sector - UK and England; total waste generation and final treatment of total waste - UK and England; number and capacity of final treatment facilities - UK and England; and packaging waste - UK.
