Abstract
Provides the safety requirements, design, application and instructions for use of gas turbine applications using liquid or gaseous fuels. The characteristics and requirements for the safety related control and detection systems and essential auxiliaries are also included and are applicable to all types of open cycles used in onshore and offshore applications, including floating production platforms. Driven machinery covered is limited to machinery integral to the gas turbine, or included within the turbine enclosure, being part of the enclosure area classification.
