Abstract

Requirements and recommendations are given for the design, installation and maintenance of fixed fire sprinkler systems in buildings and industrial plant. Can also be applied to additional repairs and modifications or extensions to a sprinkler system. Details are given for hazard classification, water supply provision, components, installation and testing of the system, maintenance, and the extension of existing systems.
