Abstract
Specifies the design of Smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems (SHEVS) to create a smoke free layer above the floor of a building to improve escape routes, covers requirements for components and compatibility between components to ensure that the requirements on the installed system will be met. Also includes requirements for the assembly, installation, commissioning, function testing, maintenance, periodic servicing and routine testing.
