Abstract

The NHBC Standards give the technical requirements, performance standards and guidance for the design and construction of dwellings acceptable to the National House Building Council (NHBC).

Document History

Superseded by NHBC Standards 2017. Supersedes NHBC Standards 2014 (NHBC, 2014). Effective from 1 January 2016. Contains additional technical guidance including the following new chapters: Chapter 5.4 'Waterproofing of basements and other below-ground structures' and Chapter 8.3 'Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery'. Also contains minor technical changes and renumbered chapters.
