Abstract
Advises on the requirements for the preparation and adoption of a local development plan (LDP) in Northern Ireland. Discusses submission and handling of representations related to development plan documents, highlighting: the legislative context; public consultation and availability of a development plan document (DPD); requirements for the submission of a representation and counter representation; use of standard model forms for the submission of representations and counter representations; availability of representations on a DPD; representations on a site specific policy representation (counter representations); public consultation on site specific policy representations; availability of representation on a site specific policy representation (counter representations); and handling of representations and counter representations.
