Abstract
Recommendations are given for designing and construction of external cladding assemblies for roofs and walls using profiled sheeting as the external surface.

Supersedes BS 5427-1:1996. First published November 1976. Second edition (published as BS 5427-1) July 1996. Third (present) edition April 2016. Came into effect 30 April 2016. This full revision takes into account changes to materials, components, systems and design practice as well as issues relating to thermal insulation and condensation.
