Abstract
Looks at how living roofs can play their part in an integrated urban water management system to help manage stormwater flows in particular. Contains guidance on the influences and interactions of the design team and assembly elements, while also providing tools to enable engineering calculations for constructing living or green roofs. Includes several case studies involving the VanDusen Botanical Gardens and Visitor Centre, Port of Portland, Mirabella and The South Waterfront District, Potsdamer Platz and Tryon Creek.
