Abstract

Comprises interim guidance to support local authorities in Wales in improving the management of local air quality and the processes and principles involved. Covers: an overview of the local air quality management (LAQM) process, including review and assessment; air quality management areas; air quality action plans; consultation and statutory requirements; local air quality strategies; transport; and planning. Also provides further information on other sources of advice and further practical guidance that local authorities may wish to pursue.
