Abstract

Designed to support local authorities in carrying out their local air quality management (LAQM) duties under the Environment Act 1995, the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002, and subsequent Regulations. Covers the technical review and assessment process for determining air quality levels and includes information on air quality action plans; annual status report (England) and annual progress report (Scotland); progress report for Wales and Northern Ireland; updating and screening assessment for Wales and Northern Ireland; detailed assessments for Wales and Northern Ireland; technical supporting information e.g. screening tools, air quality monitoring, estimating emissions etc.
