Abstract

The NHBC Standards give the technical requirements, performance standards and guidance for the design and construction of dwellings acceptable to the National House Building Council (NHBC).

Document History

Superseded by NHBC Standards 2018. Supersedes NHBC Standards 2016. Effective from 1 January 2017. Contains additional technical guidance including the following new chapter: Chapter 6.11 'Render'. Also updates topics relating to: ventilation terminals, preparation of garden areas, pitched roofs, waterproofing and timber in balconies.
