Abstract
General guidance is given on the factors affecting use of lightweight coarse aggregate in floors, such as abrasion resistance, placing, compacting and finishing slabs, aggregate floating to surface, exposure and surface wear, grinding, alternative finishes for high levels of use and early age grinding.
