Abstract

Provides comprehensive advice and guidance relating to the planning, design, installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance and operation of new lifts (vertical transportation) in healthcare buildings. Provides supporting information that can be used in specifications for manufacturers, procurement contracts and the briefing of design teams.

Document History

Supersedes HTM 08-02 Lifts (NWSSP, 2010). This guidance is based on HTM 08-02 Lifts, published by the Department of Health in 2016.
