Comprises the fourth annual state of natural capital report, which sets out the state of the UK's natural environment and the work done by the Natural Capital Committee since March 2016. Also includes a set of recommendations to government on developing the 25 year environmental plan.

The Natural Capital Committee was an independent advisory committee which provided advice to the UK Government on the sustainable use of the UK's natural assets e.g. forests, rivers, land, minerals and oceans, otherwise known as 'natural capital'. It ran from 2012 to December 2020.
