Abstract
Presents key facts for the use of timber as external cladding, to ensure compliance with the enhanced fire performance requirements within the UK Building Regulations. Looks at flame retardant enhanced timber cladding including the reaction to fire and fire resistance ratings. Also looks at the requirements of Approved Document B, fire tests and the quality schemes operated by WPA.
