Abstract
Provides updated guidance on the planning aspects of finding sustainable sites for gypsies and travellers and how local authorities and gypsies and travellers can work together to achieve this aim.
Document History
Supersedes Joint DOE Circular 22/91 Welsh Office Circular 78/91: Travelling showpeople (DOE, 1991) and WAG Circular 30/2007: Planning for gypsy and traveller caravan sites (Welsh Assembly Government, 2007). Partially supersedes Joint DOE Circular 18/94 Welsh Office Circular 18/94: Gypsy sites policy and unauthorised camping (DOE, 1994) in so far as it applies to Wales.
