Abstract

Comprises an addendum to the Housing Health and Safety Rating System operating guidance, providing guidance on assessing high-rise residential buildings with unsafe cladding. Supplements the hazard profile for fire as given in the HHSRS operating guidance (see profile 24, pages 150 to 155). Contains information on: current advice on ACM cladding; inspection of common parts; working with the local fire and rescue authority; inspections and testing of cladding; interim measures; hazard profile; health effects; causes of fire; preventative measures and the ideal; relevant matters and assessment; and next steps.
