Abstract
Specifies requirements for the execution of cold-formed steel structural components and structures. Covers specifications and documentation, constituent products, manufacturing, on site welding, mechanical fastening, erection, surface protection, tolerances, inspection, testing and correction. The National Annex explains the relationship between BS EN 1090-4:2018 and BS EN 14782, the walkability test, minimum nominal sheet thicknesses, further information regarding mechanical fastenings and stressed-skin action diaphragms.
