Abstract

Presents guidance for preparing a condition survey of built cultural heritage, looking at assessment, documentation, how to record and what to report on. Can be applied to all built cultural heritage such as buildings, ruins, bridges and other standing structures. Can be used to determine maintenance measures and the need for further investigation and diagnostics of damage, procurement needs and the requirement for detailed specification.
