Abstract
Provides guidance for quantitative analysis of the fire safety engineering and design of buildings. A framework is developed to promote the protection of people, property and environment from fire. Concentrates on issues relating to fire spread beyond the enclosure of fire origin, design fires for assessment, thermal properties and impacts of materials, and structural response.
