Abstract

The 2019 consultation seeks views for changes to the Building Regulations in Wales for Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power) and Part F (Ventilation) in new dwellings. The overarching aim is to improve energy efficiency of new homes in 2020, using a 2 part approach: with this draft approved document exploring the new look Part L for conservation of fuel and power. Explains what approved documents are and how to use them, where to get further information and what the building regulations are for. Also includes the changes to requirements within the approved document for ventilation.
