Abstract
Provides information on delivering strategic approaches to community resilience development, at the Local Resilience Forum level in collaboration with non-statutory partners. This framework provides an overview of the strategic and policy context; the roles and responsibilities of government, statutory partners and community networks; the public's contribution to resilience; understanding and engaging community networks; the steps for strategic approaches to developing community resilience, and examples of guidance, tools and programmes.
