Abstract
Formulates principles and general rules for non-loadbearing lightweight partitions with a single steel framework and a lining on both sides of the steel framework. Based on reference fire tests to BS EN 1364-1 and reports to BS EN 15725. Covers specific changes to the components of lightweight partitions: linings, metal frameworks, mineral wool insulation and the lightweight partition system.
