Abstract
Comprises the updated national framework for managing the risk of flooding and coastal erosion in England. Describes what needs to be done by all risk management authorities involved in flood and coastal erosion risk management for the benefit of people and places, centred around 3 aims: creating climate resilient places; making effective investment and planning decisions to secure sustainable growth and environmental improvements; and ensuring local people understand their risk to flooding and coastal change, and know their responsibilities and how to take the necessary action.
